IBI FOUNDATION started as a forum for development ideas and youth information exchange centre, but soon emerged with the mission to deliver both social and economic and development initiatives and services to identified target populations, as a Non-for-profit and Non-Governmental Organization.
Over the years IBI FOUNDATION has pursued capacity building programs including functional outsourcing and corporate training/educational services; Health awareness and sexual/reproductive health education for in-school and out-schoolgirls; Campaigns on WASH and sustainable environment; political participation, democracy and good governance as well as pioneering MDG/SDG Transition and Awareness Creation Workshop etc.
Orphanage Visit Initiative (OVI)
The Orphanage Visit Initiative (OVI) invites all to join us by participating in any of a number of our projects from donation of food items,clothes, books and health outreach programmes. To also adopting these orphans and also sensitizing others of the needs of these orphans here to see how you can help. Please take the time to do what you can. Many of these children do not have anyone else to help them.
This is an initiative to build the capacity of young people with the relevant tools, resources, mentoring and training to champion the Sustainable Development Goals. It has helped to sensitize children of age bracket between 6-18 years in knowing all about the SDGs and the need for their involvements in its advocacy and achievements through the establishment of SDGs Youngster Clubs in various secondary schools. It has also helped to educate and empower over 4000 girl child on various useful ICT and vocational skills acquisition to help them sustain a living (SDGs 4, 5, 8 and 9).

Girls in ICT
The Girls-In-ICT is an initiative of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). It is a global effort to raise awareness on empowering and encouraging girls and young women to consider studies and careers in Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs). The initiative is committed to celebrating and commemorating the International Girls in ICT Day on the fourth Thursday of every April.
Meeting the Target with SDG Thursday
This is an initiative that mobilizes passionate advocates, youths and volunteers towards the collective achievement of the SDGs. The project is targeted at youths and passionate volunteers of the SDGs across Abuja and Nigeria. Youth organizations, civil societies organizations, SDGs related NGOs, UN Teach SDGs Ambassadors and SDGs volunteers are involved by organizing impactful SDGs seminars, workshops, training and outreaches across the local communities in Nigeria.
A Book a Child Initiative ( ABACHI)
A Book a Child Initiative promotes literacy among preschool-aged children in under-resourced communities. We give out books, create libraries and implement literacy programs in order to help children develop the critical early literacy and social-emotional skills they need to be successful in kindergarten and beyond.
